Pamela Denise Anderson turns 41 today. The Canadian born actress has come a lengthy way as an actress, pin-up, sex-symbol, model, producer, TV Personality and author… too many feathers in her crowded cap… isnt it?
She was born in Ladysmith, British Columbia, 90 km northwest of Victoria, British Columbia, Canada, to Carol, a waitress, and Barry Anderson, a furnace repairman. Her great-grandfather, Juho Hyytiäinen, was Finnish, a native of Saarijärvi, and left Finland in 1908.
The newborn Anderson won fame as the nation’s “Centennial Baby”, as she was thought, incorrectly, to have been the first baby born on Canada’s Centennial Day (she was born at 4:08 in the morning).
She was spotted at a Canadian football game; at some point during the game she was shown on the stadium screen wearing a Labatt’s t-shirt, causing the crowd to cheer for the twenty one year old Anderson. She was taken down to the field to get an ovation from the crowd. Labatt’s immediately offered Anderson a modeling contract and she accepted: soon she was on posters in every bar in Canada.
In late 1989, Pamela decided to model for Playboy magazine: she arised on the October 1989 cover (credited as Pamela Anderson Ilicic) and decided to move to Los Angeles to continue her modeling career. She was the February 1990 playmate and has presented in Playboy several times in the 1990s and more recently.
After her move to Los Angeles, Anderson bleached her brunette hair blonde and underwent breast augmentation. In 1991, she landed a minor role on the United States’s hit television sitcom, Home Improvement (1991-1997). Having gained viewer attention, she landed the role of C.J. Parker (1992-1997) on Baywatch, and left Home Improvement after its second season.

Buxom babe Pamela Anderson is going produce her foray into Australian Big Brother house.
The ex-Baywatch star has been included in the show as a last effort to increase its low ratings.
The 40 year old actress who is going to turn an year older next week will take a break from her own reality TV show to invent an appearance in Big Brother.
Big Brother said, “Pamela has been in my sights for quite some months and I’m delighted to announce her involvement in my show.”
“The reaction from the housemates will be worth watching.”
According to Network Ten, Anderson will be teaching the housemates the” tricks of her trade”.
The show where all housemates sleep on one big bed will see the return entry of midget stomach dancer Rima who left the house due to leg injury.
The Australian show’s opening episode received the lowest rating ever amongst all Big Brother seasons.
